XP Pro 129GB Problem

    Hallo Jungs


    Ich habe ein kleines problem mit der HD
    500GB HD gekauft und eingebaut funzt alles super, und im Bios wird die Platte mit der richtigen grösse erkannt.
    Aber im Win zeigts nur 129GB an. <confused>
    SP2 ist auch installiert...


    Weiss jemand eine Lösung?


    Hab etwas davon gehört das man irgendwo kontrollieren müsse ob da EnableBigLba steht, aber naja.... wo? <sick>

    start, systemsteuerung, verwaltung, computerverwaltung, datenträgerverwaltung, und das ding dort formatieren und partitionieren, ansonsten kommt dein mainboard nicht mit soner grossen platte klar.

    sorry iceman, doch dies tönt für mich so


    ich habe einen kombi, im prospekt steht was von 1000 liter platz, doch wenn ich was reinstelle, findet sich nur 300 liter platz....


    man braucht mehr infos vom mainboard, festplatte etc...


    enable LBA ist im BIOS

    Die Hd konnte ich formatieren. funzte auch tiptop. aber immer noch 129Gb zeigts an....
    Ich check mal das MB heute abend (ist ca 2.5J alt mit SATA)...


    Was mich mega irritiert ist das ers im BIOS richtig anzeigt.... <rotaeye>

    SATA-300, 7200/ 8,9ms/ 16MB

    das alleine hilft nichts dipl. informatiker ;)

    du musst im regedit was verstellen, traust du dich an regedit ran? wenn ja


    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Parameters
    DWORD-Eintrag "EnableBigLBA" Wert "1" setzen.
    Danach neustarten.



    wenn du vom regedit keine ahnung hast, nochmals melden, werde dir einen script schreiben...
